1. Select the Tools Menu
2. Click Options
3. When looking at the General tab Firefox Start
4. Fill with Show a Blank Page and Home Page content to about: blank
5. Click again on the Advanced tab
6. Search Tab Update
7. Then Remove all the check list
8. OK
